In our experience since 2011, automatic gate is electro-mechanical equipment and  high maintenance because its exposed to outside environment like soil movement, moisture, insects and other factors. To have reliable Automatic gate:

• Installer should have enough experience and electrical- mechanical backgound
• Electrical compliace be followed
• Desired design proper designs and slope of ground are important.
• We recommend to use Aluminium Gate with benefits of being light, wont rust, and makes the motor durable
• We recommend to use of strong aluminium or steel post around 100x100mm and concreted minimum of 500mm deep 
• REcommend maintenance every 6 months for adjustments, check control box from moisture and insects.
